Notice the yellow cross inside the circle of the logo; this cross is the familiar symbol representing the medical field. The dark blue swirl toward the bottom of the logo is the handle of an umbrella. Toward the upper portion of the logo, the dark green and dark blue area surrounding the cross form the top of an umbrella. This umbrella symbolizes the protective function that the California Department of Managed Health Care serves for the citizens of our state.
